Dr Chionh completed her surgical training at the Austin Hospital, Melbourne, and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2008. Following this, she pursued sub-specialty training with a Clinical Fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at Hôpital la Timone in Marseille, France as well as a Fellowship in Breast and Endocrine Surgery at St Vincents’ Hospital, Melbourne.
Dr Chionh is a member of the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons (IAES) and BreastSurgANZ,and an Honorary Clinical Fellow of the University of Melbourne. Dr Chionh is actively involved in medical student and surgical trainee teaching.
